Four one-touch modes, 254nm UV-C, USB-C charging and a travel-ready design bring a more considered approach to cleaning retainers, aligners and guards.

NEW YORK – August 27th, 2026 – Consumer oral care has changed rapidly. Electric toothbrushes, water flossers and app-connected devices now occupy bathroom counters around the world. Yet the removable appliances worn over the teeth—retainers, aligners, night guards and dentures—are still frequently cleaned through manual brushing, soaking cups and improvised routines.

7MAGIC is addressing that gap with SonicPod Go, a compact 48kHz ultrasonic cleaner built specifically around everyday oral-appliance care.

The 48kHz cleaning system

Ultrasonic cleaning uses high-frequency sound waves to create microscopic bubbles throughout the water inside a tank. As the bubbles form and collapse, they create movement around the item being cleaned, helping loosen residue from grooves, edges and recessed areas that are inconvenient to reach manually.

SonicPod Go operates at 48kHz, a frequency selected to balance focused cleaning with the care requirements of commonly used oral appliances. The product is not positioned as a replacement for the care instructions supplied by a dental professional or appliance manufacturer. Instead, it is designed to make a compatible routine easier to repeat.

Four modes, one control

The device uses a single front button and a digital display. Each press moves through one of four modes:

Quick Clean — 5 minutes: ultrasonic cleaning plus UV-C.

Deep Clean — 10 minutes: the same combined cleaning method with a longer cycle.

Clean Only — 10 minutes: ultrasonic cleaning without UV-C.

UV Only — 10 minutes: a separate UV-C cycle.

The interface is deliberately restrained. There is no app, pairing sequence or nested menu. Users can see the remaining time at a glance and understand the selected mode through the illuminated display.

254nm UV-C with lid-open shutoff

The lid integrates four UV-C lights operating at 254nm. A lid-open automatic shutoff is designed to stop the UV-C function when the top is opened. This safety-oriented detail is important because UV-C should not be viewed directly or treated casually.

Product materials reference an SGS-tested 99.99% sterilization rate. Before any public article uses that figure, 7MAGIC will verify the complete SGS report, including the test organism, conditions, exposure time and exact scope of the result. In the final media version, the claim should appear only in the precise form supported by the report.

Cordless architecture instead of a permanent countertop cable

SonicPod Go uses two 2000mAh batteries and charges through USB-C. Internal testing indicates up to approximately 14 five-minute cycles on a full charge, although actual performance may vary depending on usage conditions.

The cordless structure changes where the product can live. It can be used on a bathroom shelf with limited outlets, on a bedside table, in a dormitory, at the office or inside a hotel room. The cleaner can be charged when convenient and operated without remaining connected to power.

A compact tank with practical accessories

The 200ml cleaning tank is designed to fit retainers, aligners, dentures, night guards, mouth guards and selected dental tools. The product’s inner diameter is approximately 3.1 inches, with a maximum water level of 1.2 inches.

The full kit includes a USB-C cable, cleaning brush, tweezers, drain basket, user manual, cleaning cloth, storage bag and six cleaning tablets. The basket and tweezers are particularly useful for retrieving smaller items or allowing water to drain after a cycle.

Built for wet environments, with clear limits

SonicPod Go carries an IPX5 water-resistance rating. The body uses a sealed internal structure, protected button design and covered charging port to handle ordinary splashes during filling, pouring and rinsing.

IPX5 does not mean the cleaner can be submerged. The device should be emptied and wiped according to the user manual, and the charging port should remain protected from unnecessary water exposure.

Low-noise operation

Product materials state an operating level below 42dB when measured under loaded conditions with the lid closed. Ultrasonic cleaners are not silent, but the noise target is designed to make the device suitable for nighttime routines and shared spaces.

The company sees this as part of the same design logic as cordless operation: a personal-care device should fit around the user rather than require the user to reorganize the room around it.

Availability

7MAGIC SonicPod Go is expected to go on sale on September 1 through the official 7MAGIC website, Amazon and selected online retail channels.
