BELGRADES, SERBIA, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Logimu today announced a substantial expansion of Logimu Shopping MCP, its shopping data connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants. It now covers 11 Amazon marketplaces plus Walmart US, accepts barcodes as well as product identifiers, and returns far richer product records than at launch.
Coverage has grown from five to eleven: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and Australia, plus Walmart US, with prices in each marketplace’s local currency. The warehouse behind it holds more than 24 million tracked products.
The connector now takes a barcode. A user can give an assistant a GTIN, UPC or EAN and get back the product, its observed price, whether it is in stock and who is selling it, with no product link required. A large share of wrong answers in AI shopping comes from matching the wrong size, colour or model, and a barcode removes that ambiguity.
Records have deepened too. Where Logimu has observed the listing page, a record now carries the description, image gallery, feature bullets, category path, variations and the featured customer reviews shown on the listing, plus an explicit stock state and the date each field was last seen. Seven ready-made prompts ship with the connector, so a user can begin without knowing any tool names.
The product search ranking uses the units Amazon itself reports bought in the past month, the review count, the average rating and whether the product is in stock, so something people are genuinely buying outranks a bare keyword match. Ranked per-category shortlists weigh more than text relevance so you get results from every relevant category. An API key adds the history behind a product: price and stock changes with the seller who held the buy box at the time, and rank history reaching back to 2023 in the US, April 2026 in the UK, a shorter window elsewhere.
The same data is available in bulk, and not only to developers. Up to 10,000 products can be uploaded as a CSV in the browser or posted to the bulk product data API, scheduled daily, weekly or monthly, and collected as CSV or JSONL by download, email or webhook. Progress and results appear in the dashboard, so a non-developer can run a job end to end. Before it runs, an estimate returns how many rows come from the warehouse, how many need a fresh lookup and what it will cost. That estimate is free and is never billed. Live-scrape product APIs cannot offer it, because running the job is the only way to price it.
The free tier still requires no signup: 30 queries a day and three tools at https://api.logimu.com/mcp, returning the current snapshot and a thirty day view. Claude users add it under Settings, then Connectors; other Model Context Protocol clients add it as a remote server. A free API key, no card, adds 500 credits and unlocks the full history above, a fourth tool for live marketplace search, on-demand live lookups and bulk jobs. Documentation is at https://api.logimu.com/docs.
“Assistants are only as good as the data behind them. Hand one a barcode and you should get the product, the price and who is selling it, with the date it was observed attached.”
Logimu reads marketplace data, it does not buy anything on a user’s behalf. Every figure carries the date it was observed, and Logimu has no affiliate or seller relationship with any product its tools return.
