Following the opening of its first North American Experience Center, the company is expanding its investment in immersive consumer education with the new VELUX Mobile Skylight Experience, a custom-designed tiny home that will travel the country to showcase the impact of skylights, one room at a time.

From HGTV Dream Homes to affordable, more efficient housing, VELUX continues to demonstrate that the benefits of natural light and fresh air from above aren’t defined by square footage. The national tour reinforces the company’s belief that everyone deserves a brighter, healthier place to live, work, and play.

The VELUX Mobile Skylight Experience is a 340-square-foot tiny home built by Tiny House Basics. Nationally recognized designer, author, and television host Emily Henderson served as the interior designer, bringing her approachable, design-forward perspective on modern living to the space. Henderson is a longtime advocate for the aesthetic and wellness benefits of skylights, regularly incorporating them into client projects as well as within her own home.

How Skylights Can Improve Home Health and Comfort

Visitors can explore each room of the VELUX Mobile Skylight Experience and interact with skylights.

• The living room explores how abundant natural daylight can elevate mood and create a greater sense of comfort.
• The kitchen demonstrates how venting skylights help remove heat, humidity, and cooking odors while supporting indoor air quality through passive ventilation.
